This collection of images is a series of individual photographs taken to mimic what I imagine black and white documentary stills might look like. By taking touristic photos and reworking them to give a sense of direction, these instances no longer exude the essence of a souvenir but rather an omniscient viewing of the location being captured. I felt the need to document my travels in a way that emulated the way in which past experiences are vocally shared: profoundly narrative and distinctly forgone.
